Hello
beauties
Everyone and their mothers is obsessed with Lumene’s CC cream, but it is really so good? Let’s find out 😊
I couldn’t
miss giving this hyped product a try, literally I hadn’t read negative opinion
about it. In the last year and half I don’t wear makeup that often and I also
don’t wear heavy makeup so a nice toned face products is welcomed to my makeup collection…and
routine 😊
Lumene’s
CC cream has light watery consistency and light coverage as well – it evens out
my skintone, but it does not cover any spots or imperfections, so in case you
have such you’ll definitely need some concealer. You can easily apply the CC cream
with just your fingertips, it’s so easy to apply and it does not require
additional blending. I hate having
makeup on my hands so I always apply the CC cream with either foundation brush
or beauty blender as I kind of prefer the second way because it gives me even
more natural coverage. Application is flawless – formula does not set super-fast,
so you can easily blend it, it does not stay spotty, it does not accentuate any
dry areas on your face, it does not crease around my eyes or nose, it’s simply
great!
The
formula has arctic thermal water and arctic wild raspberry extract, it has SPF
20 (tip: always apply additional sunscreen!) and the packaging itself is light
and compact. It contain the regular amount of 30 ml product and it’s made of
more than 50% recycled materials.
I did
some research and the color selection contains 10 shades, but I’ve never seen
more than 3 available on the Bulgarian market: Light, Medium and Dark. I bought Medium – medium beige shade with neutral undertone. As reference
I can point that Medium almost matches my #200 Rose Vanilla foundation Always
Fabulous by Bourjois and for another
reference #55 Golden Natural foundation by Max
Factor Radiant Lift is darker and more yellow.
Medium is
kind of adaptive to the skintone once applied, it does not oxides and due to
the light coverage I think that even if the shade isn’t exact match for your
skin you can easily correct this difference with some concealer or powder,
which won’t work if this was high coverage foundation.
Finish is
semi-matte, fresh and so natural – until now I haven’t tried a product that
looks so natural once applied, which makes it a great option for using on daily
bases. In real life you can barely tell I have something on my skin so it’s
perfect if you are no makeup makeup fans. Longevity is ok – keeping in mind
the light coverage and formula, but as I said I set my CC cream with some
powder on and it looks good on me for about 8 hours.
On my
opinion Lumene’s CC cream is suitable for ladies that are looking for light
coverage, natural finish and even skin tone, ladies that are into no makeup makeup
looks. It’s nice option if you have dry or normal skin, although I have oily
skin I don’t like heavy and matte foundations so with some powder on top I think
that this CC cream is good for oily skin too and it’s my favorite to use on
everyday bases. If you are looking for high coverage, matte finish and high
longevity, then this Lumene CC cream is not for you J
Have you tried Lumene’s CC Cream and what are your thoughts?
