MOTD:Beautiful Teal |KIKO Colour Sphere Eyeshadow #211| (EN)

Hello everyone ♥

I really like green and its nuances when it comes to makeup although it’s not really a go-to everyday choice, but for a special event/outfit or just special mood it’s perfect. 

The color I decided to wear that day it’s not pure green shade, its beautiful teal – medium green with cold blue undertone. The eyeshadow I used it’s duo by KIKO from their collection Colour Sphere #211. It contains matte teal part and lighter glitter green part. The pigmentation of the matte part is great, medium to full opacity, easy to blend. Glittery part isn’t that good – sheer pigmentation, you really have to pat it to make it pop and it crumbles a lot under my eyes. Next time I’ll try placing it over another eyeshadow to make it pop. 

Using flat shader brush I pat the teal eyeshadow all over my mobile lid. With pencil brush I placed some of the glittery eyeshadow in my tearduct. Using fluffy blending brush I blended the green in my crease and then using the same brush I put some matte taupe eyeshadow in my crease (Wrapped Up/Sleek). With pencil brush I applied some of the same taupe eyeshadow under my lower lashline and then placed some of the green eyeshadow under the taupe and blended well. I put some matte graphite grey eyeliner in my waterline (Hean Cosmetics Eyeliner #Graphite). Using clean blending brush I blended everything well and then I put some sand-beige matte eyeshadow (The Mail/Sleek) over where I put the taupe, just to add some warmth to the look. I finished it with some black mascara and coat of mascara. 

I think green really suit my hazel eyes, a few weeks back I did the makeup on a friend of mine with the same green duo (she has blue eyes) and it compliments her really good as well. I think green is such a versatile color that looks good on every woman.

Много харесвам зеления цвят в почти всичките му нюанси в грима, и макар да не е особено приложим в ежедневно, за някой по-специален повод/тоалет/настроение е чудесен избор. 

Цветът, на който се спрях за този грим не е изцяло зелен, точно наименование е teal, но в българския език няма аналог – междинно зелено със студен син подтон. Сянката, която използвах е дуо на KIKO от серията Colour Sphere #211. Съдържа матов teal и по-светла изцяло блестяща част в платинено-зелено. Пигментацията на матовата част е чудесна, напластява се без проблем до пълна, не се рони и не пада под очите. Блестящата част е много красива, но пигментацията й е слаба, изисква напластяване и много се рони – някой следващ път ще я пробвам върху вече нанесени сенки, като ефект, защото самостоятелно красотата й не се разкрива.

С плоска четка за сенки нанесох зеленото по целия подвижен клепач. С пенсил четка нанесох във вътрешния ъгъл на окото от блестящата част на сенките. С пухкава блендинг четка прелях границите на зеленото и после със същата четка нанесох матови сиво-кафяви сенки в сгъвката на клепача (Wrapped Up/Sleek). С пенсил четка нанесох от същоте сиво-кафяви матови сенки по линията на миглите на долни клепач.След това със същата четка, с която нанесох зеленото по подвижния клепач се върнах на долния и минах съвсем леко, колкото да се вижда съвсем лека зелена сянка и прелях добре. Добавих матов графитеносив молив във водната линия (Hean Cosmetics Eyeliner #Graphite). С чиста блендинг четка прелях добре всички сенки, и после добавих съвсем малко матови пясъчнобежови сенки (The Mail/Sleek) над преливката със сиво-кафявия мат, за да затопля малко грима. Завърших с черна очна линия и пласт спирала.

Мисля, че зеленото подхожда чудесно на пъстрите ми очи, а наскоро гримирах приятелка, която е синеока със същите сенки – и на нея й стояха разкошно, изобщо смятам зеленото за универсален цвят, който за разлика от синьото, отива на много жени.

NOTD:Baby Blue & Glitter Gradient |Golden Rose Jolly Jewels #119| (EN)

Hello everyone ♥

Recently I was in a blue mood and I wanted to paint my nails in a pastel baby blue shade so they’ll match the beautiful sky. Later I added some colorful glitter to make the manicure cuter and eye-catching.

I applied 2 thick coats and I wait until it was completely dry and after that I applied some of the glitter nail polish. The glitter nail polish is by Golden Rose Jolly Jewels #119 – I got it after I used up my all time favourite glitter nail polish, the limited edition by Essence Circus Confetti (I have full review about it here:  http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.bg/2015/01/notdblack-colorful-glitter_93.html)

Both nail polishes have identical color selection but their glitter chunks are not identical. Circus Confetti has big and smaller hexagons, while Jolly Jewels #119 has only tiny hexagons.  Jolly Jewels #119 has full opacity with 1 thicker or 2 coats and I truly like it and it’s new favourite of mine. The whole Jolly Jewels collection it’s amazing, especially if you love glitters like I do ♥ 

Jolly Jewels #119 is colorful glitter nail polish with equal size & form glitters in purple, blue, green, pink, orange, yellow and silver in a clear base. It has great full opacity – I used 2 coats for the gradient effect on a makeup sponge and finished the manicure with thick coat of top coat.
