MOTD: Birthday Look #4 |Soft Copper Smokey Eyes| (EN)

Hello everyone ♥

On 12^th of January I turned 24 years and as you know it’s tradition to share with you my birthday look – this year I decided to go for soft copper smokey eyes. I adore warm toned shades and especially the ones on the red side: bourdeaux, dark red, copper, bronze… Pure beauty to me ♥

I started off with applying an eyeshadow primer – I used Rimmel’s eyeshadow and I wait around 1-2 minutes to let it set. Using shader brush I applied sparkly copper eyeshadow on 2/3 of my mobile lid and all over my lower lid (NYX Wanderlust single eyeshadow in the shade Rome – review) as I pat off the color to get more intensive payoff.  In the rest 1/3 of my mobile lid I applied matte bourdeax shade (NYX Wanderlust single eyeshadow in the shade Stockholm - review). In my outer V I applied some matte black eyeshadow mixed with some cool toned brown (Noir & Wrapped Up from the palette Oh So Special by Sleek – review) using fluffy blending brush. In my crease I applied the contouring shade from my palette Mission Contour by Miss Sporty – I use it to blend the dark shades from my outer V to my crease and up to my browbone area.

On my browbone are I applied matte eyeshadow in vanilla shade (NYX Wanderlust single eyeshadow in the shade Seoul – review) and right below my browbone I put some highlighter (NYX Wanderlust single eyeshadow in the shade Transylvania – review). On my waterline I applied matte bourdeaux eyepencil (Essence Longstay Eyeliner in the shade Berry Fantastic). On my upper lid I applied black eyeliner (Bourjois Liner Reveal) and finished off the look with 2 coats of mascara on my upper & lower lashes (Miss Sporty StudioLash Designer).

This warm toned eye makeup I combined with warm toned face products as well – for blush I choose Milani Baked Blush Berry Amore (review), highlighter & contouring powder I’ve used on my eyes, bronzing powder Max Factor Crème Bronzer #10 Bronze and light semi-sheer lip gloss by устни от S-he Cosmetics - Nude.

This is the look I choose for my birthday ♥

На 12-ти януари навърших 24 години и по традиция споделям с вас грима си за моя личен празник – тази година заложих на опушен грим в медно-червено. 

Обожавам топлите цветове в грима и особено червената гама: бордо, червено, медно, бронзово… Красота ♥

Започнах с нанасянето на база за сенки – използвах основата на Rimmel, като я изчаках 1-2 минути да „дръпне“ след нанасяне, за да залепнат сенките по-добре върху нея. С плоска четка за сенки нанесох медно-червеният блестящ цвят сенки (NYX Wanderlust единични сенки в нюанс Rome – ревю) върху 1/3 от подвижния клепач и върху целия долен клепач, като напластих максимално цвета, за да достигна пълния му интензитет. В останалата 1/3 от подвижния клепач нанесох матово бодро (NYX Wanderlust единични сенки в нюанс Stockholm - ревю). 

Във външния ъгъл на окото с пухкава блендинг четка нанесох матово черно, смесено с матово студено кафяво (Noir & Wrapped Up от палитрата Oh So Special на Sleek – ревю). В сгъвката на окото нанесох контуриращият цвят от палитрата Mission Contour на Miss Sporty, като с него прелях тъмните цветове от външния ъгъл на окото към сгъвката до областта под веждите. В областта под веждите нанесох матови сенки в цвят ванилия (NYX Wanderlust единични сенки в нюанс Seoul – ревю), а под самата вежда сложих малко хайлайътър (NYX Wanderlust единични сенки в нюанс Transylvania – ревю). Във водната линия нанесох матов молив в цвят бордо (Essence Longstay Eyeliner в цвят Berry Fantastic). На горния клепач нанесох черна очна линия (Bourjois Liner Reveal) и завърших с 2 пласта спирала на горните и долните мигли (Miss Sporty StudioLash Designer).

Този толкова топъл грим на очите комбинирах с продукти за лице в подходяща топла тоналност – руж Milani Baked Blush Berry Amore (ревю), хайлайтърът и контуриращата пудра, които използвах и в грима на очите, бронзираща пудра Max Factor Crème Bronzer #10 Bronze и светъл полупрозрачен гланц за устни от S-he Cosmetics - Nude.

Това беше визията, на която заложих за моя празник ♥

MOTD:Green Smokey Eyes (EN)

Hello everyone ♥

Long time no see on the rubric “Makeup of the day”, well my last makeup post was about my birthday look back in January – you can see it here: http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.bg/2017/01/motdbirthday-look-3-blue-brown-smokey_14.html

I really want to make more makeup post on the blog and I hope I’ll do more soon – there will be for sure makeup looks in red, copper and another green makeup looks soon : )) 

Today’s makeup is green smokey eyes – I a-d-o-r-e green ♥

I started with applying eyeshadow base and then I set the base with some matte eyeshadow in vanilla shade (the light vanilla shade from the palette Taste of Chocolate/Flormar). Using shader brush I applied the eyeshadow Cannes by NYX all over my mobile lid as well on my lower lashline. The shade looks emerald green on the pan but on my hazel eyes and in combination with my yellow skintone it looks more like an olive green. Review on this eyeshadow will be up next month ;)

Afterwards I placed light yellowish-green shimmery eyeshadow in my innercorner (the light green shade from the palette Comfort Zone/Wet’n’Wild – review+swatches you can see here: http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.bg/2016/01/reviewwetnwild-coloricon-palette-738_28.html)

Then using fluffy blending brush I mixed some matte brown eyeshadow with cool taupe (shades Wrapped Up & Boxed from the palette Oh So Special by Sleek – review and swatches you can see here: http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.bg/2015/03/reviewsleek-i-divine-oh-so-special_18.html), which I applied in my crease to add some depth as well under the green on my lash line to smoke it up a little bit. 

Using tapered blending brush I mixed matte black with dark green eyeshadow (black shade is from the Sleek’s palette + the darkest green from the mentioned Comfort Zone palette by Wet’n’Wild) and I applied them both only in the outer part of my eye to smoke up the look.

 

Using an angled brush I applied matte black eyeshadow as an eyeliner on my upper lash line. Then I placed some matte sand-yellowish eyeshadow above the crease to warm up the look a little bit (The Mail/Sleek Oh So Special) and under my browbone I applied NYX Transylvania which is in beautiful champagne shade as highlight (review – here: http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.bg/2017/04/reviewnyx-soft-matte-lip-cream_28.html) I finished the look with black eyeliner in my waterline and 2 coats intensive black mascara (Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious).

 

As I said many times – I l♥ve green and I think this shade (+red) suits hazel eyes best and makes the pop. 

This makeup looks isn’t suitable for everyday or daytime but in my free time I often do my makeup in similar green shades and I match it with monochrome outfit or with my favorite green dress.

I won’t stop saying that green is beautiful color and looks incredible incorporated in makeup – green eyeshadow, eyeliner or eye pencil, green smokey eyes is in my top 3 favorite makeup looks ♥
