NOTD: SPRING VIBES |Aura Like A Pro #104 Baby Pink Shimmer| (EN)

Since spring is right around the corner I decided to spice up my manicure with some sparkly pink with golden accent.

This beautiful nail polish is by Aura in the shade 104 Baby Pink Shimmer from their line Like A Pro and it’s so beautiful – to me it looks like a sparkly cotton candy, somehow fairy and mermaid-ish at the same time ❤ 

It’s baby pink shade with lots of fine golden shimmer particles, super eye-catching and feminine and I can’t stop starring at my hands whenever I’m wearing it. It’s so special to me that I even wore it on my birthday party! It’s super popular lately, together with its beige variant, which I’m not a big fan of.

Unfortunately the shade is the only thing I like about this polish – it requires 3 thick coats for full opacity, it’s really hard to apply evenly, brush itself is super long, unstable and tacky, dries pretty slow and on top of that longevity isn’t impressive. This time I added 1 layer of baby pink shade to improve the sheerness problem – I used miss sporty #636 in the shade Love in Paris and afterwards I applied 2 coats of  Aura 104 Baby Pink Shimmer. I also placed one golden heart as an accent to the ring fingers and sealed it all with thick coat of top coat and fast drying nail drops.

This turned out to be really eyecatching, spring and feminine manicure that brought me plenty of compliments and nice mood 😊

Отдавна не бях показвала маникюр в блога и реших да спретна един в пролетно нежнорозово, въпреки снега и зимните температури вън.

Този красив лак Aura в нюанс 104 Baby Pink Shimmer от тяхната серия Like A Pro е голям красавец – прилича ми на блестящ захарен памук, има нещо много приказно и русалско в него ❤

 Представлява бебешкорозов цвят с много фини златисти скейл частички, намирам го за много впечатляващ и женствен, не мога да спра да си гледам ръцете, когато съм с него, а и именно него избрах за маникюра на рождения ми ден, което е показателно колко го харесвам. Голям хит е в лаковите среди, заедно с бежовия му вариант, който обаче на мен не ми допада толкова.

Суперлативите за лака обаче се изчерпват само с цвета му, за съжаление – за пълна покривност изисква 3 внимателно нанесени пласта, нанася се трудно и трябва опитна ръка, четката е безобразна, супер дълга, рошава и непозволяваща контрол, все едно се лакирате с четка за под, съхне много бавно, дори с топ лак и изсушаващи капки отгоре и за финал, трайността не е уау при мен, а аз обикновено нямам проблеми с нея. Затварям си очите за всички минуси заради невероятния цвят, но определено не е лак, с който се лакирам безпроблемно и за 2 минути, колкото и да ми харесва. Този път реших да нанеса подложка, така че първо нанесох по 1 пласт от бебешко розовия miss sporty #636 в нюанс Love in Paris, а едва след него нанесох 2 пласта от Aura 104 Baby Pink Shimmer. За разкош залепих по едно декоративно златно сърчице на безименните пръсти и завърших с щедър пласт бързосъхнещ топ лак и капки за бързо съхнене над него, но пак се усеща мек след известно време, което отново отчитам като минус.

Получи се много закачлив, пролетен и женствен маникюр, който ми донесе много комплименти и добро настроение 😊

NOTD: Festive Emerald & Gold (EN)

Today’s post is about my version of festive Christmas manicure – I don’t like Christmas themed manicures that are having Christmas tree, Santa, sugar canes, snow and so on (as well as themed manicures in general – either New Years, Halloween and so on) so my take on Christmas manicure is usually red & golden variation, as for example this here or this beautiful holiday red one – my most Christmas-y nail polish here (it even has Christmas name – Jolly Roll).

This year I wanted to have green & golden manicure so I combined 2 favorite shades: Essie Dive Bar (review here) and OPI My Favorite Ornament (review here). Dive Bar is great threeochrome nail polish: emerald bluish green with purple hints, it reminds me a lot of MAC Club.

 It’s super beautiful on real live because different shades appear with every hand move and that makes it so eye catching. My Favorite Ornament on the other side is my favorite OPI nail polish: the most beautiful and dimensional golden shade with some fine glitters and sand finish. 

I’m not a sand finishes fan so I added some top coat on top of it but this makes it even more deep and dimensional.

To make the manicure even more festive I decided to add decoration on the ring fingers – I glued it with top coat as per usual (not with nail glue!) and it stayed put until I took it off. I received so many compliments on this manicure and a lot of people were amazed that this manicure isn’t done my professionals – yes, you can have flawless manicure at home with just a little effort ❤

This combination reminds me of Christmas tree and golden garlands ❤ What kind of manicure are you going to wear this holiday season?

Днешният маникюр е моят прочит на Коледен маникюр – не харесвам маникюри с елхи, Дядо Коледовци, захарни бастунчета, сняг и всякакви такива тематични маникюри (не само Коледни, но и с надписи ЧНГ, с мартеници, Хелоуински и т.н.), затова моите коледни маникюри са в някаква вариация на червено-златна комбинация, като миналогодишния ми тук, или пък този червен разкош – най-коледният ми лак (даже името му е коледно – Jolly Rolls).

Тази година ми се приноси зелено-златен маникюр, затова заложих на 2 любими лака: Essie Dive Bar (ревю тук) и OPI My Favorite Ornament  (ревю тук).  Dive Bar е страхотен триохромен лак: изумруденосиньо-зелено с лилави отблясъци, много ми напомня на прочутия пигмент на MAC Club. Супер красив е наживо, цветовете се преливат при всяко движение на ръцете и определено приковава погледа.

My Favorite Ornament пък е любимият ми лак на OPI: най-красивото и блестящо златно с невероятна, почти триизмерна дълбочина наживо и пясъчен финиш. Аз не обичам пясъци, затова го заглаждам с плътен пласт топ лак, който не отнема от дълбочината му, а подчертава блестящите частички в него.

За да бъде маникюрът съвсем празничен, реших и да експериментирам – добавих декорация върху безименните пръсти (за пръв път лепя декорация върху пясък, отново действах само с топ лак, без лепило, както обикновено и декорацията остана на мястото си, докато свалих лака) и се получи разкошен маникюр ❤ 

Получих безброй комплименти и учудени погледи как така това не е гел и не е правен от маникюристка – ами не е 😊 С малко старание и в домашни условия се получават безупречни маникюри ❤

Комбинацията ми навява асоциации на коледна елха със златни гирлядни ❤ А вие на какъв празничен маникюр ще заложите тази година?

NOTD:Bright Neon Coral (Gabrini Neon #15 Turuncu) |EN|

In the summer I’m obsessed with bright & neon pink shades for my manicure and pedicure – and every summer I share with you which are my favourites, you can check up on them here here and here

This summer I decided to go for neon coral – Gabrini Neon in the shade 15 Turuncu (which means orange in Turkish). This nail polish is in such a cheeky dollish pink shade, it’s super eye-catching and in instantly lifts my mood, plus is great pedicure option as well ❤

Gabrini’s nail polishes are among my favorite – easy application, good longevity, speed drying and variety of shades (their Brilliant line is my favorite❤)

I wasn’t in the mood for plain manicure, but I wasn’t in the mood for painting as well :D so I decided to put golden triangle ornament on the ring fingers and to mattify the polish and this is the final result – simple, but eye catching manicure😊

През лятото обичам да нося ярки и неонови нюанси на розовото  - всяко лято споделям тези си маникюри с вас, можете да си ги припомните тук тук и тук

Това лято избрах да ви представя един неонов корал с розов подтон – Gabrini Neon в нюанс 15 Turuncu (което, както проверих, означава „оранжево“ на турски). Лакът е в много претенциозен, бонбонен и кукленски нюанс на розовото, вижда се от самолет и поне на мен ми носи много лятно настроение, а и е чудесен избор за педикюр ❤

Лаковете на Gabrini от сериите с плоска четка са сред любимите ми – нанасят се с лекота върху моята плочка, имат висока трайност, съхнат бързо и предлагат разнообразие от цветове: от неоновата серия има поне 10 цвята (синьо, жълто, зелено... всички цветове на дъгата), от nude серията също има 10-на цвята, а от най-любимата ми Brilliant серия са около 8, така че непременно ги потърсете, заслужават си 😊

Не бях в настроение за семпъл изчистен маникюр, но и не ми се занимаваше да рисувам декорации или да лепя ваденки, затова избрах да матирам допълнително розовия неон (ако не знаете, по правило неоновите лакове изсъхват с матов или полуматов финиш), но и това не беше достатъчно, накрая лепнах за разкош и една златна декорация под формата на триъгълник на безименния пръст – семпло, но достатъчно да задоволи желанието ми за отличителна визия 😊

NOTD: Soft Taupe & Bold Golden Accent (EN)

Today’s manicure is again in my favourite nude color palette - soft taupe with beautiful golden accent ❤

The main shade I went for is this light greyge taupe - Rimmel 60 Seconds in the shade #561 YOLO. 60 Seconds nail polishes are among my all-time favorite and they never disappoint me, no matter what kind of shade I opted for: full opacity on 2 coats, high longevity, effortless application, wide brush and variety of trendy colors. YOLО is a non-typical nude shade because it’s versatile but it also has that grey hue that makes it more intriguing than the rest beige and rosy nude nail polishes.

Of course I had to add some kind of accent and (of course) I went for golden - Max Factor Glossfinity in the shade 55 Angel Nails, which is in beautiful golden color with metallic finish. This nail polish I long time discontinued and I’m not going to explain myself in depth about its characteristics.

It was my first time combining 2 decorations at once – I placed golden disc at the beginning of my ring finger and decorative diamond stone in the center of the disc, in order to make the decoration even more eye-catching. I sealed them with top coat and voila!

This manicure turned out super festive, impressive and eye-catching, I even think I’m going to recreate it again at some point and this happens once in a blue moon😊
