Hello
everyone ♥
In
my previous post about my winter everyday makeup essentials I
mentioned this blush and today i'm going to tell
you more about it, because on my opinion this is an awesome product.
The
blush comes in a cartoon box (as
most of their products) it has stable
packaging that
is perfect for traveling (trust me, this blush has travelled more
than 1000km in my makeup bag :)).
In the
packaging there is no mirror or brush, which isn't a cons for me,
because I never ever use the tiny blush brushes that come with some
blushes. It
contains
1,5 gr/0.05 OZ of product.
Тexture
is
typical
for baked products – a bit dry, finely baked, with good
pigmentation that allows building. Color selection includes 6 shades
and mine is
№ 01. The
shade looks
peachy in the packaging, but applied on my skin (mine has really
noticeable yellow undertone) appears as cool
pink-peachy with fine satin finish.
I
have desperately oily skin
(:D)
with
visible pores so I have to avoid pearly blushes and highlighters
because they make my pores even bigger, but if the sheen is fine like
this one the effect is light natural looking blush with healthy glow.
I would call this blush blush-highlighter, because it has more sheen
than the regular blush but it's way more discreet than the regular
highlighter.
Pigmentation
is
good and buildable. One thing I hate when it comes to blushes is
pigmented blush – I like it light, barely visible and that's why I
always tend to go for soft and lightly pigmented blushes that have
satin/shimmer finish instead of highly pigmented and matte ones.
Longevity
is
also good – it fades away a bit during the day, but it still there
and visible at the end of the day when I remove my makeup – after a
good 8
hours wear.
This blush has vanilla
scent (did
I mentioned how much I hate vanilla?!) but luckily, I can feel it
only when I apply it.
KIKO's
blush reminds me a lot of my favourite blush by Milani – Luminoso
(Luminoso is a game changer for me) and you can read more about it
here:http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.bg/2016/03/reviewmilani-baked-blush-05-luminoso-en.html),
especially
their finishes are identical as you can tell:
Luminoso
is my favourite blush but I can't wear it in the winter since during
the cold months I tend to wear darker and cool toned lipsticsk that
didn't suit the peachy-golden Luminoso. KIKO's blush pairs great with
darker and cooler shades, gives my face a pink hint and cool
freshness, without being an accent or making my makeup stronger. I
use this blush on everyday bases since October and I highly recommend
it if you're looking for a cool toned blush with glow.
Do
you have any KIKO blushes and what are your thoughts?
