Hello beauties ❤
Today’s post is all about one old bestseller in
the category foundation, which was recently relaunched with better formula –
the mousse-foundation Miracle Touch by Max Factor.
Miracle Touch isn’t a new product for me since
I’ve used it in the past (old formula variant) and I remember that I quite
liked it back then, so I was impatient to get my hands on it once again.
Мiracle
Touch is available in 6 shades for the Bulgarian market which isn’t a enough to
cover all skin shades, but according to my experience with Max Factor’s
foundations they do adapt with a few tones to the natural skin color (I
experienced this with Healthy
Skin Harmony, Facefinity 3in1 and Lasting Performance as well).
The shade I choose is Golden Beige 048 – medium shade
with visible warm yellow undertone that matches perfectly my tan and blends
into my skin seamlessly.
Miracle Touch is placed in stable glass pot, it
contains 11.5gr product, it has built in
sponge in the cap (which I don’t plan on using), and it has mousse-like
texture, which blends into liquid once is applied on the skin, it blends
seamlessly, it gives full coverage and flawless matte finish to the skin.
Miracle
Touch’s formula has added hyaluronic acid into it and SPF 30 which is huge plus
on my opinion, because I do wear sun protection on everyday base, throughout
the whole year. I do have super oily skin no matter the season, so according my
experience Miracle Touch is suitable for either oily or combination skin,
because it might be drying for women with normal or dry skin.
Miracle Touch’s mousse consistency looks solid and
thick at first sight, but when applied on the skin it melts into liquid and it
is extremely easy to apply & blend – I prefer to apply my foundation either
with foundation or beauty blender and to use minimal amount of products,
applied on very thin layer to look natural. I dip my brush once in the pot
and blend the product from the center of my face to the outer contour.
The formula doesn’t require any time to set on the
skin and right after application the finish is already matte and looks super
natural on the skin (it does not have that powdery finish), it does not sets in
my fine lines or pores and it has full coverage: all types of imperfections are
covered. Keeping in mind the full
coverage formula you can’t build it without end up looking cakey on the skin,
and to be honest I don’t think you’ll need to. In the view of the full opaque
formula, building up the coverage isn’t possible without looking cake-y, but
honestly I don’t think you’ll need to build it anyway.
Miracle
Touch does not dries out my skin and it has good longevity: nearly 6 hours
without need of additional mattifying and afterwards a mattifying with oil
control tissue/powder is a must, but as I already said I have really oily skin
throughout the whole year and I haven’t found yet a foundation that stays put
the whole day. If you do have combination or normal skin, you’ll probably don’t
need additional mattifying or it will be needed later at the day. Another plus
of Miracle Touch is that even after mattifying my makeup stays & looks put
– my blush & highlighter are still visible even after 2 mattifyings and the
foundation itself does not come off/fades away in an ugly way until I decide to
remove my makeup.
What I like about Miracle Touch is the light
mousse formula that has full coverage and looks extremely natural on the skin,
it has matte finish and gives my skin flawless & even tan on my skin, high
SPF, nice and lasting performance on the skin and of course, the
travel-friendly package. Eventual minus
I see is the amount of product you get – in the view of the standard 30ml per
foundation, 11.5 gr last me for a month, month and a half maximum, keeping in
mind the fact that I wear makeup every weekday for work (I already used up 1
packaging of Miracle Touch and this is my 2nd one). I’ll
definitely repurchase Miracle Touch for 3rd time after I hit pan on
this one, since I want to keep a foundation like this in my makeup collection –
I always like to have on hand at least 2 foundation with following
characteristics: one with
light, airy & breathable consistency, light to medium coverage and
semi-matte finish (multiple
time repurchased favorites of mine in this category are Max Factor Healthy Skin
Harmony, Bourjois Healthy Mix, Bourjois City Radiance, Bourjois 123 Perfect) and
another foundation that has high & full coverage, matte finish and high
longevity (in this category my favorite is Bourjois Air Mat and from now on Miracle Touch as well).
