Hello
everyone
I was kind of concerned whether I should post this, keeping in mind what’s going on around, but I decided to publish it in case someone needs to read something casual & relieving, right?! If you are this person, then keep on reading 😊
I decided
to start posting seasonal favorites again and keeping in mind spring is right
around the corner I want to share with you some of my favorite makeup,
skincare, haircare and fragrance favorites. I want to write more about skincare
because do not wear makeup on daily bases anymore and skincare is my priority
for the past 2 years.
Let’s start with makeup:
Lumene CC Cream
in
the shade Medium
I already
have full review on this CC cream here and I included it in my yearly favorites
here. It has light coverage, looks natural and it’s great to wear on daily
basis.
Bell
HYPOAllergenic Nude Liquid Powder
in
the shade 02 Light Beige
I also
wrote about this powder in my Best Of 2021 post, it’s a liquid powder for real
and when applied on the skin magically transfers into fine powder and adds
medium coverage and matte finish, but it’s super light at the same time. Great
for oily skin!
Bell HYPOAllergenic Liquid Eye
Concealer
in
the shade 02 Medium
Review on the liquid powder + this concealer will be
up very soon. This concealer has medium coverage, looks natural and has great
staying power and I used it regularly in the winter.
Trend
IT UP Expert Finish loose powder
in the shade 010
Universal
Highly
mattifying, clear fixing powder that is very suitable for oily and mixed skin.
I’m using it for setting my above mentioned products and it ensure flawless
matt look for longer.
alverde setting spray
This
spray has light & watery consistency, fine spritzer, does not smudge my
makeup when sprayed over, it’s not sticky and it does not feel heavy on the
skin. I’m using it regularly and my makeup looks great for longer, but the best
part is that its ingredients are natural and certificated.
Makeup Revolution brow pomade
in the shade Ash Brown
I
really like this pomade – it’s fairly pigmented and it’s super easy to work
with, you can’t overdone your brows with it and the shade is perfect match for
my hair and skin: ash-y medium brown. Longevity on my skin is good, I’m
impressed!
trend IT UP mascara base N1
This
primer is actually presented as lash foundation and it’s flesh toned, it has
thick consistency and it’s easy to apply on the lashes and it definitely makes
them longer and fuller.
L’oreal Paris mascara Unlimited
My
favorite mascara! I can’t stop raving about it, it’s the best I ever tried:
adds volume, length, definition, curl and does not smudge.
Bell
HYPOAllergenic Longwear automatic eyeliner in the shade 01 Black
Classic
black automatic eyeliner which I apply in my upper waterline to make my lashes
appear thicker. It’s pitch black, it has good longevity and it’s not smudging.
trend
IT UP Contour & Glide lip liner
in
the shade 420
Soft
automatic lipliner with high coverage, good longevity and fresh spring shade –
nice peachy nude, that makes my complexion so put together.
Bell HYPOallergenic Longwear automatic
lip liner
in the shade 03 and lipstick Creamy Nude in the shade Praline
Cream
For
this lip combo I have full review here Both products are in warm caramel nude
shades, have good opacity and longevity and are great tandem for wintertime.
Maybelline Lifter Gloss
in the shade 009 Topaz
Those
lipglosses are such a hit and I believe they’re worth it! Topaz is semi-clear
and highly shiny nude lipgloss that has no particles but makes the lips like a
glass! It’s not sticky at all, it has good longevity and it pairs perfectly any
lipstick or lip liner. I mostly worn it in combination with the trend IT UP lip
liner on the contour of my lips.
Rimmel Super Gel nail polish
in the shade 031 FAB and 050 Fatal Fling
In
the wintertime I mainly wore these two nail polishes: 031
FAB is in bright raspberry shade and 050 Fatal Fling is black cherry one.
Moving
forward to skincare:
Frudia My Orchard Mochi face foam
with acai berry
I
love these face foams – I had the mango one and then the peach one, now I’m
using this acai berry one. Gently removes makeup, it’s not drying, not
irritating on the eyes or skin and I love it.
Nivea Energy micellar water with
Vitamin С
I’m
literally obsessed with Vitamin C products – thanks to them my skin is glowing!
This micellar water removes gently any makeup, it’s not irritating on the eyes
or skin, it’s not sticky and I’ll repurchase it for sure.
The Ordinary glycolic acid 7% solution
Every
winter I’m using this toner regularly – purifies my skin, evens out the skin
tone, lightens up any hyperpigmentation and if used correctly, my skin feels
like brand new afterwards.
Alteya Organics rose water
I’m
using this rose water instead of toner – lightly spritzing on my face and décolleté
and then I’m applying serum, cream and so on.
This one I like and I’m using quite regularly and works great on my skin: adds
freshness, hydration and nourishes.
Nature of Agiva peel off face mask
with active charcoal and rose
This
is my new favorite peel of mask – clarifies my pores really deep and minimizes
them, mattifyes and evens out my skintone and it’s great for oily skin.
Recommend!
Sephora The Heating Mask sheet mask
with sauna effect
This
mask really has nice and warming sauna effect, it’s super hydrating and makes
my skin soft, elastic and nourished. It’s super nice to have it on after a long
day when you crave some warmness and coziness
IKAROV winter nourishing face oil
with orange and calendula
I
already posted about this winter oil here It has thick formula, soft orange
scent, hydrates, nourishes and soothes my skin after exposure on the cold
weather and I also like to add it into my body lotion for additional hydration. Great product for dry skin or for skin,
that is sensitive to cold exposure.
REVOX eye cream with avocado and rose
water
This
cream has thick, rich and fluffy consistency, strongly nourishing action on the
skin and it’s good pick for you if you’re looking for strong hydration in the
eye area.
Farmskin Superfood For Skin toner
and emulsion with mangosteen
I’m
really impressed by this Korean duo! The toner has somehow gel like consistency
that isn’t sticky on the skin and makes it super soft, nourished and hydrated,
while the emulsion is pretty light and great for daily care for oily skin. I
like them a lot but they are a bit hard to find, keep this in mind.
Lipsmaker Cherry Coca-Cola lip balm
Super cute lip balm with Cherry Coke taste and scent that my brother gifted me ❤ Beside the fantastic scent this balm it’s also deeply nourishing, non-sticky and I used it a lot in the cold months. So good!
Frudia night lip mask with mango and
honey
This
lip mask has the texture of thick and non-sticky lip balm, smells nice on mango
and honey and feels super nourishing on the lips. When applied at night, in the
morning you wake up with soft, fluffy and conditioned lips.
IKAROV winter hand balm with shea and
I
already wrote about this hand balm here This small packaging I carry with me in
my bag and the big one I keep at home and I use it on my hands, cuticles,
elbows, knees and heels. It softens any dry patches and smells amazing on
orange honey cake.
Frudia hand cream with cactus fig
Frudia’s
hand creams are the best! They have thick but non-sticky formula, hydrate my
skin so well and they have such a variety of scents to choose from. I’m using
them all the time and this time I bought the cactus fig one because I enjoy the
tarty smell.
Dove shower gel with maple syrup and
oat milk
I
assume this shower gel is a new addition because I’ve never seen it around.
Smells nicely on maple syrup, it’s super gentle on the skin and it’s great pick
for wintertime or if your skin is sensitive to harsh body washes.
Let’s
take a look at the perfumes I used the most:
Guerlain La petite Robe noire EDP
I have full review on it here Sour cherries, liquery sweetness, almonds and licorice, really luxurious scent with great longevity that is especially beautiful in the winter time ❤
Lanvin ME EDP
This
one resembles the La petite Robe noire in general but here the main note is
blueberry. It’s even more long-lasting and strong and in the cold time is
especially impressing. I have in depth review on it here
Bee Beauty Miss Violet EDP
This
one is a gift from my mama – she knows that violets are my favorite flowers and
as she saw the tittle Miss Violet she immediately bought it for me. Smells
like jasmine, orange flower, vanilla and pralines, it’s impressively longlasting
and has great sillage. Such a nice winter scent that always gets me so many
compliments. You need to give it a try! Here is a link to it: Bee Beauty Kadın EDP Miss
Violet 50 ml (gratis.com)
And finally some haircare
products I enjoyed:
Matrix So Sleek smoothing shampoo with shea
In the winter my hair gets
even more frizzy and on top of this it’s super long and with dry lengths so I wanted
to find smoothing, hydrating shampoo and I find it – Matrix So Sleek. After shampooing with it I can skip the
conditioner – my hair is soft, smooth and I can comb it with just my fingers.
It’s so good!
TIGI Bed Head Get Twisted anti-frizz hair spray
In case you don’t know who
is the person with the frizziest hair on Earth – nice to meet you, that’s me!
My hair is always frizzy no matter what I do, because it has high porosity and
absorbs a lot of damp. Especially in the winter time and whenever there is
rain, snow or humidity if I straightened it – it gets curly and if it’s curled –
it becomes straight. This anti-frizz spray has light consistency and hairspray
like fixation, but somehow sticks to the hair without feeling heavy and my hair
stays put in however I styled it, thanks to it. For me is must-have for humid
days.
These were my winter favorites, which are yours?
