Review: Max Factor Color Elixir Liplgoss #10 Pristine Nude (EN)

Hello everyone

I finally found some time to finish a couple of posts and today's one is review on the lipgloss I am currently using - Max Factor Color Elixir in the shade 10 Pristine Nude.
Lipglosses aren't on trend now but I always have one lipgloss in my makeup collection - for those days that I want to rock a "no makeup makeup look", whenever I want light, semi-clear colour on my lips and always in the cold months, when my lips are getting extremely dry and chipped.

Every single lipgloss I've ever bought is always in the same super light, neutral nude shade either with beige or light pink undertone, exactly in that "old-school-Kim-Kardashian-nude-lip-vibe". I know that this particular shade is really hated recently and even old-fashioned but I really love it and I rock it quite often :) Pristine Nude is exactly in this shade range: really pale & light nude with pink undertone, which looks great worn with simple everyday makeup as well with classic smokey eyes.

Pristine Nude is in light, pale nude shade with pink undertone, it has light to medium coverage which allows you to build up the color intensity. Aplicator is tiny and for my lips I have to put it in the tube at least 2-3 times to cover my lips with the product. Color Elixir has light vanilla-caramel scent, which isn't detectable once applied. Amount of product  in the tube is 3,8ml. Shade range includes 9 shade as Pristine Nude is the lightest one.

Beside the shade which I really like and I think it suits me well, the other main thing I love about this lipgloss is the fact that  it is not sticky – at all. Applied on the lips there is not stickyness at all, even my hair does not stick on my lips when it's windy outside. I believe that most women hate that sticky feeling on your lips whenever wearing lipglosses, that also leaves sticky trails on glasses & utensils, clothes, smudge in hot weather and act like magnit for long hair - I hadn't have these type of problems while wearing Color Elixir for the past 3 months. Color elixir has light, airy, balm-like consistency, which I really like. Of course, non-sticky texture leads to main minus of this lipgloss longevity. I bet you know the rule: the more sticky one lipgloss is, the more longlasting is. Pristine Nude is not sticky at all and that's why it has small longevity: maximum 2hrs if you do not eat.

During the summer I am wearing this lipgloss quite often and especially since I'm blonde I found that looks really cute & girly :D  I even pick this lipgloss for my lip product I wore on my prom 2 weeks ago (photos on my Instagram) which clearly show up how much I like the light, non-sticky and balmy feeling on the lips, which adds at the same time light pink shade and makes my lips plump and nourished.

Overall: lipgloss Color Elixir has nice, balm-like formula, light to medium coverage, it looks great on my lips: light, pale pink nude. Main reason I adore Color Elixir instead regular classic lipglosses is because  it is not sticky at all. Only but main minus, leaded from the non-sticky advantage is small longevity – nearly 2hrs if you don't consume food.

I personally prefer to reapply multiple times my lipgloss during the day instead of having sticky, high-longevity lipgloss that leaves sticky trails on everything my lips touch - of course, this is up to your personal preferences :)

Have you tried Max Factor Color Elixir lipgloss and which are your thoughts?
