Hello everyone ♥
Today I decided to show you some of my
favourite eye makeup brushes. I have different brushes from different brands, I
use all of my brushes but I have some favourite that I want to share with you
in today’s review. Next month I’ll post a review on my favourite face makeup
brushes.
So here are some of the brushes I prefer to use:
1. Zoeva #227 Luxe Soft Definer
Blending Brush
My first (for now) Zoeva brush. I want to purchase some more but
for now I don’t really need something. #227 Luxe Soft Definer is Zoeva’s bestseller,
a lot of beauty gurus says, that this brush is a dupe for the world’s most
famous blending brush - Mac
217. Zoeva #227 is really good brush. It blends the
eyeshadow so well and I never had problems with blending no matter what type or
color of eyeshadow I’m using. The bristles are super soft, they
don’t fall, it’s easy to clean and it dries out pretty fast. It’s made of natural hair (goat hair), standard length, it’s pretty comfy to
work with. I blend any eyeshadow just with 2-3 swipes. Zoeva #227 it’s really
really good brush and I’m using it on every makeup look I do.
2. Lollipop Cosmetics Blending Brush
I was looking for another blending brush
so I purchased this one. The difference with #227 is that this one is a
bit tapered at the end and it’s perfect for precise and a bit concentrated
blending. I wear cut crease makeup pretty often and I love using this brush to
achieve clean cut above my mobile lid. This one is also form natural hair (goat hair), it’s soft but not
super soft, it’s easy to clean, it dries out pretty fast, and I haven’t got
fallen hairs up to now.
I would say that Lollipop’s blending brush made is
really similar to Zoeva’s. When I received it I was kind of surprise by the
length – it’s almost 3-4cm longer than my Zoeva #227 and this might be a
problem if you have tiny hands or short fingers. Lollipop’s blending brush is
super good and comfy to work with, it’s a bit precise and tapered compared to
#227.
3.Shader brush Makeup Professional
Shader brush is probably the most popular type of makeup brush and using it you
can do your whole eye makeup. This brush is soft, it has synthetic bristles, it
has fallen bristles sometimes (2-3 up to now and I have it since 3 years) but
that’s not a big deal for me. Again, it’s easy to clean but it takes a bit more
time to be completely dry. I use it to put flesh tone eyeshadow all over my
mobile lid, to apply highlighting shade in my inner corner and under my
browbone, to pat an eyeshadow. You can slightly smudge and blend your eyeshadow
using it but it’s type of a soft blending just so there’s no harsh lines.
4. Essence Pencil Brush
This pencil brush is from synthetic hair, it’s thick but it’s comfy to work.
This brush is super good if you want nice smudging. It’s easy to clean, it dries
out fast and I don’t have fallen bristles. I use this brush to smudge eyeliner,
to apply highlight in my inner corner as well as under my browbone. It’s
perfect to use if you want to apply eyeshadow/eyepencil on your lower lid or if
you want super intense cut crease. It’s pretty multifunctional brush.
5. Make
up professional Angled Brush
I love this brush so much that I bought 3 of them – 1st one I use for filling my eyebrows, 2nd I use for gel eyeliner or if I want to apply eyeshadow as eyeliner and 3rd I use when sometimes I do a manicure and I
want to clean my oval. The bristles length it’s perfect for my eyebrows, it’s
easy to apply gel eyeliner with, the bristles are soft and I don’t have fallen
up to now. It’s comfy to work,
it’s easy to clean and it dries out for 2 hours. It’s identical to Avon’s
angled brush which I used to love but I lost it.
6. Makeup Professional Concealer
Brush
This brush is also from synthetic hair,
I have it since 2010 and it works perfect. I use it to apply my eyeshadow
primer, for applying creamy eyeshadows, pigments and if I want really to pat
some eyeshadow. I usually don’t wear concealer but when I do I use this brush
for applying. It’s shorter than the
standard concealer brushes but to me it’s easy for work. It’s easy to clean and
it dries out really fast.
So these were some of my favourite eye
brushes, which I use on everyday bases and you definitely should give them a
try if you’re new to makeup or if you’re searching for something new.
I’ll post #2 and next month I’ll
post #1 of my favourite face brushes.
