NOTD:Bright Red |Catherine Arley #17| (EN)

Since it’s getting pretty warm where I live and the winter it’s almost gone I had my spring mood on – I wanted to do something brighter and colorful on my nails, since I got tired from the dark & vampy manicures I wore from September till now. 

Catherine Arley #17 it’s warm red shade with coral undertone – on my skin it looks like coral-red shade.  The finish of it it’s crelly – on 1 coat it looks sheer, but on 2 it has 90% opacity and on 3 coats- full. I personally always wore 2 coats of it over a nail polish base, since the consistency it’s pretty liquid and it’s a bit harder to get nice oval. 

It dries out pretty fast – 1 coat it’s dry for less than 10 minutes. It doesn’t have nice shine itself and that’s why I always put some top coat. It has good longevity on my nails – 6 to 7 days. 

I decided to do an accent on my ring finger – I applied 2 coats of creamy white nail polish (Classics #04). After that I made 2 stripes using Catherine Arley #17 at the tip of my nails like triangle French manicure. Over them I applied 2 stripes using black creamy nail striper (Golden Rose Nail Art #106). I made the stripes with my hand, but in case you’re not precise at this go for nail foil. I placed 1 black decorating stone at the beginning of my nails and the added some top coat to finish the manicure.

I really like how it turned out and I’m going to recreate the white, red and black design on all of my nails in the summer – somehow I like white manicure in the summer, but not in the colder months.

Пролетното време напоследък ме изкушава да заложа на някой пролетен цвят за маникюра си – от края на септември насам нося само тъмни маникюри, но явно вече съм на пролетна вълна и ми се носят по-ярки цветове. 

Catherine Arley #17 е топъл червен цвят с коралов подтон – на моята кожа стои почти коралово червен. Както и останалите лакове на марката, и този е с крели консистенция – на 1 пласт прозира силно, на 2 покрива на 90%, а на 3 покривността е плътна. Лично аз винаги го нанасям на 2 пласта и върху основа, защото консистенцията е много течна и се разлива към кутикулите.

Съхне изключително бързо и без топ лак – един пласт изсъхва за 10-тина минути. Блясъкът самостоятелно не е впечатляващ, затова аз слагам топ лак.Трайността е добра – върху моите нокти издъжа около 6-7 дена.

Реших да разнообразя червения маникюр с акцент – на безименните пръсти нанесох 2 пласта плътен бял лак (Classics #04). След това с Catherine Arley #17 направих по 2 ленти в края на нокътя, като триъгълен френски, а върху тях добавих още 2 с черен лак (Golden Rose Nail Art #106). Лентичките рисувах на ръка, но ако не сте достатъчно прецизни, ползвайте декоративни лентички за маникюр или тиксо. Добавих по 1 черно декоративно камъче в основата и внимателно добавих топ лак, за да запечатам декорацията. 

 

Определено ми хареса как се получи и лятото бих направила всички нокти по този начин – някак си белия маникюр го възприемам за топлите месеци, но не и за зимните.

Review:Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick #31 (EN)

Hello everyone ♥

Golden Rose Velvet Matte lipsticks are one of my all time favourite – matte, intense colors and extremely longlasting. A few weeks ago Golden Rose added few new shades to the Velvet Matte collection – #28, #29, #30, #31, #32, #33 and  #34.

When it comes to lipsticks and lip products at all I’m all about the nudes girl. Since I dyed my hair lighter I was looking for a bit deeper nude shade with brown undertone. Finally I picked #31- beautiful wearable nude with neutral brown undertone which suits my medium skintone  perfectly.

 #31 is beautiful wearable nude with brown undertone, perfect for every makeup look and for everyday use. My skin it’s medium and it has noticeable yellow undertone, but on fair skin this might appear as pure brown shade, not as nude.

 

This nude lipstick (as well as most of the nude lipsticks) makes the imperfections on the lips more visible – you definitely need to exfoliate and hydrate for perfect looking nude lips.

I really like this lipstick and I wear it everyday since I first got it – it looks natural and delicate and looks like it’ll be my all time favourite nude lipstick♥
