Review: Bourjois Rouge Velvet The Lipstick Moka-Dero, Taupe Of Paris & Parisienne (EN)

In the spring I posted in depth review on the lipsticks Bourjois Rouge Velvet The Lipstick here– those lipsticks are one of my top favorites and today the latest 3 shades I got are on focus here on the blog: Moka-Dero, Taupe Of Paris and Parisienne. Up now the total number of Rouge Velvet The Lipstick I have/had is 6, keeping in mind I hadn’t posted review only of № 4 Hip Hip Pink which seemed too pink for me and I gave it to my mum – 6 pieces of one line is quite impressive amount for me which clearly speaks how much I like them.

A few words about the formula in case if you don’t want to read the whole entire review: Consistency of The Lipstick is classic for bullet lipstick – extremely creamy and it glides on easily on the lips and covers them with color with just one swipe, without need of any reapplication. Right after application The Lipstick has classic creamy finish, but after 5 minutes it sets on the lips and it has that flawless velvet matte finish – exact same ultra-matte finish like the liquid lipsticks.  As I said the finish of Rouge Velvet The Lipstick is flawless velvet matte but it does not feel as drying and the liquid lipstick – I do feel my lips a bit dry but they are less dry compared to whenever I wore liquid lipstick: they feel nice after I remove The Lipstick and I can wear it the next day even if I forget to apply lip balm. Longevity it’s crazy – I reply only е once throughout the day, i.e. 12 hrs with 2 applications. 

All the 6^th lipsticks I own have the same flawless formula & consistency so this post will be all about the last 3 additions to my collection:  Moka-Dero, Taupe Of Paris and Parisienne.

In the fall of 2018 Bourjois launched 10 new fall-wintery shade in the line Rouge Velvet The Lipstick, all of them in brown, purple and nude shades, matching the Parisian trends. I picked 3 brown shades (anyone surprised?): №22 Moka-Dero, №23 Taupe Of Paris and №24 Parisienne.

№22 Moka-Dero is neutral light brown with cool beige-greyish undertone, the lightest and most wearable shade from these 3 but still quite unique and non-typical shade due to its cool undertone. Moka-Dero looks great paired with no makeup makeup as well as with dark smokey eyes, it makes the teeth look whites and is perfect choice if you are looking for a shade in the popular greige range that is still quite wearable on everyday bases. Moka-Dero is my cup of tea and a shade that I’ll wear throughout the whole year and repurchase again.

№23 Taupe Of Paris is limited edition and is in medium dark brown with cool grey undertone, quite bold and edgy shade that needs to be cooperated with the rest of the – I can’t imagine wearing it paired with just mascara and light foundation. Dark, vamp lipstick shades requite flawless tan or they will accentuate on every imperfection and make it more visible & noticeable: always coordinate your bold lipstick with eyeliner/eyeshadow, mascara and a bit of contour/blush. Ever since I am blonde I tend to wear darker & bolder shades because I think they look milder and softer paired with my blonde hair, when I was brunette I found the contrast to my dark hair and lips too harsh and disharmonic. Taupe Of Paris I like to wear in combination with thick and 2 coats of mascara, defined brows, contour & highlighter, everything in the cool toned color range.

Taupe Of Paris is quite bold, vamp and eyecatching shade and if you aren’t brave or confident enough to rock it, you better go for the lighter and wearable shade Moka-Dero. Taupe Of Paris is for my preferences completely fall-winterish shade that needs cold & gloomy weather, outfit in black leather & faux fur, strong perfume and minor, grunge-y mood & look in general.  

№24 Parisienne is medium dark plum-brown with red undertone, extremely stylish and sophisticated vamp shade and the only reddish shade I like on myself.  I adore Parisienne in combination with simple black eyeliner, really winged & volumized lashes, contour and light blush, with no highlighter or excess glow.  I definitely can image the Parisian girl rocking this lipstick, minimal makeup, casual chic outfit, barret and white florals based perfume. Everytime I wear it I receive compliments and I was told a couple of times that I look “especially fatal with this lipstick” :D

I categorize Parisienne as easily perceived by the others even in formal setting vamp shade (probably because of the red undertone).  Parisienne is great fall-winterish lipstick, super stylish and elegant, I love wearing it with simple black outfit and for an extra French twist with Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire. Parisienne is more wearable and daytime appropriate compared to Taupe Of Paris, but still darker and bolder than Moka-Dero.

Rouge Velvet The Lipstick is my favorite lipstick formula together with Soft Matte Lip Cream by NYX, I really like it and I’ll keep repurchasing it❤

Review: Bourjois Rouge Velvet The Lipstick Moka-Dero, Taupe Of Paris & Parisienne (BG)

През пролетта написах доста обстойно ревю за червилата на Bourjois Rouge Velvet The Lipstick тук , които са ми изключително любими, а днес ще разкажа за новите 3 цвята в колекцията ми от тази серия: Moka-Dero, Taupe Of Paris и Parisienne. 

Дотук общия брой на червилата Rouge Velvet The Lipstick е 6, като ревю не съм публикувала единствено на номер 4 Hip Hip Pink който се оказа твърде розов за моя вкус и подарих на майка ми – 6 червила от една серия си е впечатляваща бройка, което говори колко много ги харесвам.

За да не се повтарям, ще оставя отново линк към предишното ми ревю на червилата Bourjois Rouge Velvet The Lipstick тук, където можете да прочетете повече за опаковката, формулата, грамажа, предимствата и недостатъците на продукта. 

Няколко думи за формулата на червилата, в случай, че все пак не ви се чете отделното ревю, което съм писала за тях: консистенцията на червилата е класическа за червило в гилза – изключително кремообразна, поради което се нанася с лекота върху устните и с едно движение ги покрива с плътен и наситен цвят, без нужда от повтаряне. Веднага след нанасяне червилото има класически кремообразен завършек, но в продължение на 5 минути след нанасяне, засъхва върху устните и придобива кадифено матов финиш – точно като течните матови червила, които завладяха пазара през последните 2 години. Финишът на Rouge Velvet The Lipstick е безупречен кадифен мат, идентичен с матовия финиш на течните червила, но далеч не толкова изсушаващ – налице е изсушаване след носене на червилото, но в далеч по-малка степен от изсушаването след сваляне на течните червила. Tрайността е огромна, подновявам само веднъж в продължение на деня, т.е. 12 часа изкарвам с 2 нанасяния.

 

При 6-те цвята, които притежавам/съм притежавала, формулата е безупречна, затова днешният пост ще бъде посветен на нюансите на 3-те последни цвята в колекцията ми: Moka-Dero, Taupe Of Paris и Parisienne.

През есента на 2018г. Bourjois лансира 10 нови есенно-зимни нюанса в Rouge Velvet The Lipstick, основно в кафяви, лилави и телесни нюанси, в унисон с парижките тенденции. Моят избор се спря на 3 кафяви цвята: №22 Moka-Dero, №23 Taupe Of Paris и №24 Parisienne, разбира се, все цветове в кафявата гама.

№22 Moka-Dero е неутрално светлокафяво със студен сиво-бежов оттенък, най-светлият и носим от 3-те цвята, но пак нетипичен цвят червило с оглед подчертано студения си оттенък. Moka-Dero стои чудесно и с лек ежедневен грим, както и с опушен грим в тъмни тонове, прави зъбите много бели и е чудесен избор, ако търсите червило в популярната greige гама (grey+beige), което все пак да е носимо в ежедневието. Moka-Dero е много „мой“ цвят, който бих носила целогодишно и бих поддържала в колекцията си.

№23 Taupe Of Paris е лимитиран цвят и представлява среднотъмно кафяво със студен подтон и сив оттенък, доста смел цвят, който изисква координиране с останалия грим – вариант да го носите с лека основа и спирала според мен не съществува. Тъмните, дръзки цветове си изискват плътна основа, защото иначе акцентират върху всяко несъвършенство по кожата и го карат да изглежда по-видимо и забележимо, изискват и поне молив/очна линия върху клепача и спирала на миглите, задължително и контур и/или руж. Откакто съм руса нося много тъмни и дръзки нюанси, намирам че стоят по-меко в комбинация със светла коса, докато когато бях брюнетка контрастът с тъмната коса беше силен и подчертан. Taupe Of Paris нося в комбинация с много подчертани очи (плътна очна линия, 2 пласта спирала), подчертани вежди, контур и хайлайтър, всичко в студената гама.

Taupe Of Paris е доста дързък, смел, вамп тоуп нюанс, който събира погледи и ако не сте достатъчно смели или уверени да носите тъмно сиво-кафяво червило, по-добре изберете по-мекия и носим нюанс Moka-Dero. Taupe Of Paris за моите възприятия е изцяло есенно-зимен нюанс, изисква студ, мрачно време, аутфит в черна кожа, faux fur, плътен парфюм, изобщо нюанс за по-минорно и гръндж настроение и визия.

№24 Parisienne е среднотъмно сливово-кафяво с червен оттенък, изключително стилен вамп нюанс и единствения вариант на червеникаво червило, който харесвам върху себе си. Parisienne обожавам в комбинация със семпла очна линия, много извити, пърхащи и обемни мигли, контур и лек руж, без хайлайтър и други излишни блясъци.  Определено си представям стилната парижанка с точно това червило, премерен грим, небрежна шик визия, барета и белоцветен парфюм. Колкото пъти нося Parisienne получавам комплименти, няколко пъти чух, че с това червило изглеждам „особено фатално“ :D, с оглед което категоризирам Parisienne като лесно възприеман от околните и във формална обстановка вамп цвят (вероятно заради червения му оттенък). Parisienne е чудесно есенно-зимно червило, много стилно и елегантно, харесва ми да го нося със семпъл черен аутфит и за допълнителна доза френски шик, в комбинация с Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire. По-носимо и ежедневно е от Taupe Of Paris, но по-тъмно и дръзко от Moka-Dero.

Rouge Velvet The Lipstick е любимата ми формула за червило, наред с Soft Matte Lip Cream на NYX, изключително много ми допада и бих поддържала постоянно в наличност.
