Review:Nature Of Agiva Fruit Salad Body Scrub Orange & Curacao *PR sample (EN)

One of my favorite Bulgarian skincare brands - Nature of Agiva recently launches really interesting assortment line, called Fruit & Vege Salad: body scrubs, shower gels, hand creams, shampoos, hair masks, shower mitts…And all of them are nicely scented with intriguing fruit & veggie combos, like  

❤yoghurt, rose water & chocolate

❤berries & black pepper

❤watermelon, melon & honey

❤ pomegranate & orange

❤ mango, kiwi & avocado

❤ grapefruit, lime & mint

❤ and the newest: orange & curacao, which I’m presenting today as recent launch

I would like to point out that I’m not accepting PR samples due many reasons (and the main one is that my blog is my hobby, I love writing articles & taking pictures for them in my free time and I would like to think about this as a hobby & free time activity and not as obligation). But when Nature of Agiva contacted me I couldn’t say no J As I mentioned it above, this is one of my favorite Bulgarian brands and my first review here on the blog about their product is from 2015 (here), which I’m still buying, plus on my Instagram profile (here) I frequently mention Nature of Agiva products in my empties post, and last, but not least – I try to support the Bulgarian brands whenever I get the chance to do it. This body scrub was gifted to me by Nature of Agiva and I want to point out clearly that my opinion is personal, not manipulated and totally honest 😊

This sugar scrub with orange & curacao is the recent addition to the Fruit & Vege Salad collection and fits perfectly to my summer bodycare routine J In case you’re not familiar what curacao is, this is a type of liqueur with tarty dried orange peel scent from a special kind of oranges, called laraha. Curacao is my mom’s favorite liqueur and at my parent’s house we always keep a bottle (or two :P) from it and I guarantee you this body scrub smell authentically on blue curacao 😊

The sugar scrub is placed in convenient container, has nice summery print on the cap, it contains 200 gr of product and the formula has 99% natural ingredients, such as olive oil, almond oil, grape seed oil, poppy seeds, flax seed, glycerin, sugar and some preservatives. Texture is typical for a sugar scrub, it has fine crystals real sugar and the formula is thick, but it does not feel harsh or scratchy. The scrub gently exfoliates the skin and makes it silky soft, refreshed and nourished, thanks to the oils in the formula. You know that I use fake tan regularly so I need good exfoliating product to remove the old layer of fake tan before I apply the fresh one and using this scrub I created perfect base for a fresh new tan – exfoliated, soft and hydrated skin, ready to get bronzed. I plan to write an article about my fake tan routine, so stay tuned.

Applying this body scrub on my skin feels like a true SPA ritual, thanks to the scent which immediately brings you on the beach with cocktail in hand J Juicy and temptingly delicious, with noticeable tarty curacao note, combined with the citrusy sour orange smell, this scent is so unique and far from the boring mass market scents, I really like it 💙

You can use this scrub on your face & body and I like that after you apply it it does not leave that oily feeling on your skin, which is typical for the rest oil-based scrubs. I feel my skin clean, refreshed and very soft.

In case you are looking for a body scrub with natural ingredients, which is budget-friendly, smells uniqued and makes your skin nourished, smooth & hydrated, than you should give this one a try :) Note 6 out of 6.

I would buy this body scrub once I finished it for sure, plus I would like to pair it with matching shower gel or body lotion to elongate the amazing smell.
