It’s
tradition to share with you my favorite products from the past year at the
beginning of the new one so that’s what today’s post will be all about. Last
year’s favorites you can see here and you can catch up on these for 2019 here,

So let me
introduce you to my favorite products of 2021, divided per categories as
follow:
Makeup:
In 2021 I worked a lot at the office (not like in
2020 where I spent total of 9 months in home office) so I got the chance to do
my makeup quite frequently and I discovered a lot of new favorites, let’s start
with the
Face:
Lumene CC Cream
in the shade Medium
There
isn’t a single negative review on this super popular CC Cream by Lumene that
everyone and their mothers are obsessed with! I also love it and I posted a
full review on it here
This CC cream looks super natural on the skin and no one can tell that you’re wearing something on your face. It’s perfect for your everyday makeup look and on my opinion it’s suitable for any kind of skin, including oily like mine, just make sure to set it properly with nice powder.
Bell HYPOAllergenic Nude Liquid Powder
in the shade 02 Light Beige
This liquid powder is phenomenal! It has interesting consistency – high coverage but light and liquidy and once applied on the skin immediately transfers from liquid to soft powder. It is really a liquid powder ❤ It evens out my skin tone, it’s super blendable and looks so natural, despite the high coverage. It does not feel heavy on the skin, it does not crease into the fine lines and works perfectly with my oily skin. I’m super impressed by this product and I’m going to present you full review on it. Highly recommend!
Maybelline Instant Age Eraser concealer
in the shade Neutralizer
Favorite
concealer of mine that I already mentioned so many times here on my blog. It
has the most natural looking formula for concealer that I ever tried, it blend
seamlessly into my skin so you can even wear it on its own. It never
creases into the fine lines and this exact shade makes me super awake and fresh
due to the yellow hues in it.
Essence Camouflage Matt+ concealer
in the shade 23 Warm Sand
I first
tried Camouflage Matt+ in 2021 and I used up a few of it. It’s like the more
opaque and long-lasting version of the above mentioned Instant Age Eraser so
that makes it more suitable for oily skin. Longevity and coverage are great, it
does not crease and again, it’s in this beautifying yellow shade that makes you
look super awake and healthy.
Bell HYPOAllergenic Liquid Eye Concealer
in the shade 02 Medium
One more favorite concealer – medium coverage, light formula, easy to blend and it has nice natural finish.
Aura Powderful! Loose Powder
in the shade 04 Crystal Bright
I read so many amazing reviews about this powder that I just had to give it a try ❤ It’s considered as dupe for the Guerlain Meteorites and I can confirm it because I own the Meteorites too. Both powders have that nice Photoshop effect on the skin which isn’t visible on photo but in real life is so pretty – muted matte glow. Both products mattify the skin with this muted matte glow and make it look blurred. The difference between both products, despite the packaging and the price tag it’s also in the scent – Aura’s powder doesn’t have that whimsical violet scent which is signature for the Meteorites, but in terms of effect it does the trick. I love wearing this powder on top of Lumene’s CC Cream or over Bell’s liquid powder because it mattifyes my skin but it adds that muted glow and it’s looks so beautiful <3
Trend IT UP Expert Finish Loose Powder
in the shade 010 Universal
Classic
transparent loose fixing powder. I prefer loose powder over compact because I
think they look better on my oily skin because are lighter, plus act better in
terms of mattifying. This one is strong recommendation for ladies with
combination or oily skin because it provides long-lasting matt finish and makes
my skin like porcelain.
Bell HYPOAllergenic Perfectionist Powder Compact
Powder in the shade 01 Banana
I wanted
to try this powder from the moment I saw it because I’ve never seen such
product – mix between transparent fixing powder and banana powder 2 in 1. This powder has light yellow undertone
which matches my yellow-ish skin perfectly, it sets my makeup, it makes it more
long-lasting and it does not look heavy or too visible on the skin. Highly
recommend!
Bell HYPOAllergenic Prime & FIX Fixing
Spray
In case
you also have oily skin you are probably familiar with the magic of setting
spray – it makes your makeup so much long-lasting! I like this one because it
has fresh scent, sets my makeup and makes it more long-lasting and doesn’t
smudge it. I’m only not a fan of the sprayer because it’s spraying a bit too
dense for my liking but I don’t consider this as big minus. I love this spray
and I highly recommend it.
Eyes:
Bell HYPOAllergenic Longwear automatic eye
pencil
in
the shade 01 Black
Classic
black automatic eyeliner which you don’t need sharpener for. I always put some black eyeliner in my upper
waterline to make my lashes visibly thicker so this one does the job, plus it’s
in this super deep black shade and I definitely like it and recommend it.
Essence Liquid Ink liquid eyeliner
in the shade 02 Ash Brown
I wanted
to try brown eyeliner so bad and in 2021 I finally got the chance to! In the
past year I used up one entire packaging of this eyeliner and this is my second
one which shows how much I’m obsessed with it. Shade is dark chocolate brown,
finish is matte, it has comfy & long brush and the only thing I kind of
dislike is the longevity – it’s not super impressive and at the end of the day
it’s a bit smudged in the inner corner which isn’t a surprise for me keeping in
mind my super oily skin. It gives a nice, subtle definition to my eyes and I
love it, so I’ll keep wearing it on daily basis.
Bell HYPOAllergenic felt tip eyeliner
in the shade 01 Black
Super
opaque black felt tip eyeliner that has great longevity on my skin and comfy
applicator, it’s not smudging or fading throughout the day and it’s such a hit
for me!
Sephora Little Wishes eyeshadow palette
I have
full review on this palette here It contains 3 perfectly selected shades –
light matte vanilla shade with which you can set your primer or to event out
your lid skin tone, shimmery bronze shade with warm orange undertone to wear on
your mobile lid or as an eyeliner and dark matte plumish brown which you can
use to darken up the outer V of your eye, to use as an eyeliner or even to wear
on the whole mobile lid. Little Wishes is the most compact and universal
palette I own and it’s definitely my most used one in the past year.
Bourjois Little Round Pot signle eyeshadow
in the shade 07 Purple
Reine
This particular shade look ah-mazing on hazel & green eyes ❤ Mine are hazel and this reddish shades are really making them pop and that’s why they are my absolute favorite. This eyeshadow has improved formula compared to the previous Bourjois single eyeshadows I remember (they were dryer, less pigmented and with poor longevity) but all of the above mentioned are improved and now the formula is soft, buttery and pigmented, easy to apply and has great staying power, has nice satin finish and blend like a dream, but the shade is what I’m raving about: muted plum-bronzy shade with red undertone and gold shine, super pretty and you can wear it on its own on the whole upper lid or just as an eyeliner applied with an angled brush.
L’oreal Paris Unlimited mascara
in the shade Black
I wore all these eyeshadows until June when I discovered this amazing mascara and ever since I started wearing it on its own – it’s so good! As I already mentioned it numerous times I have ash blond straight and short lashes that aren’t curled and on top are thin, so I’m always struggling while trying to make them look nice. Unlimited is a game changer for me!
On 2 coats receive that WOW effect –
length, volume, lift, curl and definition! No smudging, no fading, just 2 quick
coats and I’m done. I had other mascaras that had similar effect on my lashes
(like my old favorite Lash Sensational) but I never achieved so quickly WOW
lashes.
NYX Eyebrow Gel brow pomade
in the shade Espresso
I’m using this pomade while I’m waiting for my micropigmentation appointment (yes! I finally decided to make it and I’ll have full post about it here 😎) This pomade isn’t for beginners, it’s not easy to use and it requires good makeup training but it does the job for me. It has thick consistency, you need to work quickly in order not to set too fast and you have to use light hand with it. Longevity has no analogue for me! I never had such a long-lasting brow product! I even wore it at the beach and despite the humidity, high temperatures and salt water my brows were flawless, just like freshly done. Packaging isn’t the best and I’ll prefer getting this product in small jar like the other pomades, but that’s the only minus I see. I highly recommend this pomade for ladies that have oily skin and are seeking for great performing brow product.
Lips:
Trend IT UP Contour & Glide lip liner
in the shade 420
One of my
favorite influencers @janinewiggert
raved about this lip liner so I had to give it a try – it’s an automatic lip
liner which is always a plus because you don’t need to sharpen it, it has soft
kind of a crayon consistency, high opacity and good longevity. The shade is
super fresh and somehow bright spring nude – peachy nude that gives me such a
beautiful glow and fresh touch. I wore it a lot in the spring & summer time
on its own.
Golden Rose Dream Lips lip liner
in the shade 504
My total favorite among all lip products for the past few years! I don’t think I ever came across such shade that suits my complexion so much! It’s such a staple piece for me that if I ever had my lips micropigmented this will be the shade I’ll go for without any doubts. It’s the perfect shade for my lips – natural rosy nude with cool undertone, just a bit darker than my natural lip color. I can rock it with any makeup or on its own, it’s easy to sharpen and it’s soft enough for precisely application. I’m already on my 4th one and I’ll keep repurchasing it ❤
Impala lip liner
in the shade 207
I have
full review on the Impala lip liners here This one is in beautiful mauve shade
with cool undertone, it’s such a compliment getter and I can rock it with any
makeup look.
Makeup Revolution Crème liquid lipstick
in the shade Crème Brunch
Full
review on this lipstick you can read here It has light but highly pigmented
formula, great longevity and performance, velvet matte finish and looks great,
especially paired with the Impala lip liner. I almost used it up, I used to
wear it non-stop in the spring & summer.
Bell HYPOAllergenic Rich Cream lipstick
in the shade Praline Cream
My latest
lip purchase – I recently posted review on it here It has buttery and highly
opaque formula, shade is intense caramel-y beige nude, feels hydrating on my
lips without drying them and it’s great pick for the cold months.
Rimmel Oh My Gloss Plump! lip gloss
in the shade 1999
Rimmel’s
lip glosses are something that no one never talks about, but I want to mention
them because they are surprisingly good and I thing are worth to show some love 😊 Especially the new line
Oh My Gloss Plump! which claims to have plumping lips effect. I have juicy
enough lips and I’m usually skeptical towards these plumping promises but this
one really does the thing - it has super strong minty feeling
like you’re having a numbing crème on your lips and they
are looking significantly bigger. Formula contains cinnamon oil, capsicum oil
and camphor oil and it’s definitely not a product for ladies with sensitive
lips. Consistency is thick like honey and has billions of fine shimmer
particles. I wore it all the time with all of the above described lip liners
and I love it!
Perfumes:

La Petite Robe Noire EDP

Avon
Little Red Dress EDP
I have review on this absolute favorite of mine here This perfume is my signature scent for the past 10 years and I feel that even when I’m not wearing it I still smell like it. I never got tired of it and when it was discontinued I was so pissed that I even claim it to the Avon’s headquarter 😄 Obviously this is really beloved scent because it was restocked and in 2021 it was back in Avon’s portfolio. In 2021 I used up 3 bottles of it! Velvety red rose, juicy raspberry and warm sandalwood – my all-time favorite scent ❤
Avon
Soft Musk Delice de Velvet Berries EDP
I ordered
this perfume immediately after I sniffed the scented page on Avon’s catalogue,
can you imagine? Review is coming soon, but let me tell you that for the price
of 5€ (five euro!) you get great perfume
that smells like tarty rhubarb, delicate vanilla and warm sandalwood with
amazing longevity, trail and sillage and intense development. I’m super
impressed by this perfume and I can’t wait to present it to you anytime soon.
It has some resemblances with Lost Cherry by Tom Ford which I also own and
costs around 30x times more, but delice de Velvet Berries has similar performance.
