Today’s manicure has a pop of color with this colourful ombre half moon accent.
The neon hot pink nail polish is my favourite summer
nail polish –Catherine Arley #702 which I showed you here: http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.com/2015/06/notdneon-pink-flowers-catherine-arley_9.html.
To be even more colourful I decided
to add decorating stones in different pink shades.
Just after I applied the 3rd coat of my
nail polish I carefully placed the decorating stones in half moon shape using
tweezers. To achieve the ombre effect I placed the stones starting from the
lighter to the darker pink shade – silver, baby pink, hot fuchsia, light and
dark purple. I added a nice thick layer of top coat to stick the decorating
stones better and I was ready with my manicure – it took me around 10 minutes.
The final result is eye catching, fresh and
summer-ish manicure with colourful accent. I really like how it turns out and
I’ll definitely recreate it again with another color combination.
