NOTD: OPI Rich & Brazilian |Breakfast At Tiffany| (EN)

Autumn is already here and my nails are rocking fall manicure – I adore wearing dark, bold and vamp manicures and literally dark & vamp anything is literally out of my alley in terms of my preferable vision ❤

  

For today’s manicure I decided to go for this beautiful and deep purple shade –OPI Rich & Brazilian (I love OPI’s nail polishes name!) from the collection колекцията Breakfast At Tiffany. Here on the blog I already have reviews on the rest of the 3 nail polishes from this collection: bright fuchsia Apartment For Two (here), classic red Got The Mean Reds (here) and sunny blue I Believe In Manicures (here).

Rich & Brazilian is interesting deep reddish-purple shade with cool undertone and fine purple-silverish shimmer, that can’t be captured via camera. The silver shimmer gives the polish multidimensional effect and makes the shade much deeper and not just the regular reddish-purple color. 

Rich & Brazilian’s characteristics are flawless: perfect application and opacity on 2 coats, nice shine on its own, good longevity on the nails (~7 days) and fast drying performance. I own quite a lot OPI’s nail polishes and only 1 applies terrible  (I Believe In Manicures), all the rest are perfect in every way.

 

To accentuate the multidimensional shimmer I added thick coat of top coat and the final result is this really vamp purple fall manicure with fine silver sheen. As I said earlier, this type of shimmer nail polishes are impossible to be captured via camera and they always appear much more intriguing & eye catching in real life, plus OPI is one of the best performing brands in terms of making shimmer and other effect nail polishes.

Есента вече е тук и есенните маникюри завладяха ръцете ми – обожавам присъствието на тъмни, дръзки, вамп нюанси в маникюра и като цяло във визията ми ❤

 

За днешния маникюр избрах един много красив и дълбок вишнево-лилав нюанс – OPI Rich & Brazilian (обичам имената на лаковете на OPI!) от колекцията Breakfast At Tiffany. В блога вече има ревюта и на 3-те останали лака от тази колекция: ярка фуксия Apartment For Two (тук), класически червено Got The Mean Reds (тук) и слънчево синьо I Believe In Manicures (тук).

Rich & Brazilian е интересен вишнево-лилав нюанс със студен подтон и фин сребристолилав шимър, който обаче няма улавяне с камера. Шимърът му придава триизмерност и прави цвета му много дълбок, а не просто поредният есенен ла във вишневата гама.

Характеристиките на лака са безупречни: перфектно нанасяне и покривност на 2 пласта, добър самостоятелен блясък, висока трайност от порядъка на пълни 7 дни без забележки и бързо самостоятелно съхнене. Притежавам доста лакове на OPI и само 1 ми е късал нервите с безобразно нанасяне (I Believe In Manicures), всички останали са перфектни във всяко едно отношение.

За да подчертая триизмерността на шимъра, запечатах с плътен пласт топ лак и финалният резултат е много вамп есененно-зимен маникюр в тъмнолилавата гама с фин сребрист отблясък. Разбира се, този тип лакове с шимър са просто неуловими на снимка и наживо изглеждат много по-впечатляващо,отколкото през монитора, а OPI са царе на лаковете с отблясъци.

NOTD:Autumn Chameleon |Rival de Loop #Indian Feeling| (EN)

Today’s manicure is out of my comfort zone -  fuchsia-golden chameleon, that changes its hue with every move and in one moment is pink, on the next – purple and then becomes golden. 

I usually don’t go for fuchsia nail polishes, let alone fuchsia chameleons, so I don’t have a valid explanation how exactly this nail polish landed into my shopping cart and come back with me to Bulgaria.  

The brand Rival de Loop is German and it’s available in the German drugstores Rossman, Muller and DM and their assortment is diverse and interesting and their nail polishes are bestsellers, so in case you are passing by their stand, be sure to check out their products for sure.

Nail polish I’m wearing is called Indian Feeling and is in deep fuchsia shade with golden chameleon hue and shimmer finish: on my opinion this is really unique shade and I don’t have anything similar in my nail polish collection. Its characteristics are flawless: effortless application, super-fast drying power, full opacity on 2 coats and high longevity (7 full days on my nails). 

As most nail polishes with shimmer finish, this one also dries to semi-matte finish and in order to see its full beauty you have to apply a thick layer of top coat to accentuate the chameleon multidimensional shine.   

Although the name of the nail polish is Indian Feeling on my opinion it will suit better the name Indian Summer – I associate this fuchsia-golden shade exactly with the Indian summer, with the transition between summer & fall, with warm autumn shades and it’s nice to wear it in this time of the year, right before I start wearing my favorite dark & vamp nail polishes which I really enjoy rocking.
