Hello everyone ♥
In my previous post on the rubric scented ‘’review’’ I wrote about my favourite fragrance for the spring time – Lanvin Eclat D’Arpege (review here: http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.com/2015/05/scented-reviewlanvin-eclat-darpege-en.html).
A few weeks ago I bought a new fragrance which
I haven’t stop wearing it since I got it – it’s perfect for the summer, 35◦heat
and the wet, sticky air.
Today’s scented review is all about the Tesori d’Oriente Viola del Nepal perfume spray. Tesori d’Oriente is an Italian brand, producing body products – body butters & lotions, shower gels and perfume sprays. On their website is written that they produce 25 fragrances. The most popular of them are White musk, Orchidea della China and Sandalo del Kashmir & Vetiver. In 2013 the brand launched a few new fragrances and one of them is Viola del Nepal.
History:
Viola del Nepal fromTesori d’Oriente is floral mono scent of Nepal violet, launched in 2013 as a perfume spray. In the language of flowers the
shy, sweet Viola is the symbol of romantic love, humility and modesty. Viola is
among the most appreciated flowers because of their delicate fragrance and
sweet and romantic shades. The fragrance is classified as floral-powdery scent
with light woody notes to it.
Description:
Top,
middle and base notes: Nepal
Violet. Even in the ingredients is written that contains only violet flower
& leaf extracts.
Development on my skin:
Since this is a mono fragrance there’s no deep or intense development – at first feels completely floral, but fast turns into a floral-powder scent with light woody
note. It ends up as almost completely powdery
scent. Don’t expect to feel the familiar juicy violet scent – in this fragrance it’s just a note, but
not a base of the perfume ‘’composition’’. The fragrance is lollita-ysh sweet,
without being too sweet and heavy to wear.
Packaging:
The fragrance is in simple, black matte bottle with printed violet. It’s really
travel friendly – it’s hard to open by itself and it can’t broke.
Storage:
The perfume spray is available only in 100ml bottle. It’s available in set with shower gel
and body butter with the same violet scent.
Season appropriation:
This fragrance is definitely summer appropriate – it smells fresh on the skin, without being the typical for the season salty/citrus
or floral scent. It’s perfect to wear in the summer humid and dry/wet weather.
Time
appropriation:
The fragrance is definitely daytime appropriate.
Longevity:
On my ''cold'' skin – 2 up to 3 hours, after that I feel it delicate. On people with warmer skin – for example on my
mother it stays during the whole day – just as a perfume. I would say that the Tesori d’Oriente’s spray have good longevity– „White musk” especially it’s noticeable even after
showering.
Tesori d’Oriente Viola del Nepal is floral-powder mono scent of Nepal violet, with good longevity power and feels delicate. If you do like light mono scents,
perfect for the summer & humid weather, you’ll probably like Viola del Nepal.
Which one is your favourite summer fragrance?
