Black eyeliner is a must in 99% of my makeup looks
and a must have in my cosmetic bag. For me I can say that the liquid eyeliner and the gel eyeliner are super comfortable to work with and using them I achieve perfect results everytime.
This gel eyeliner is by Rimmel and it is from their
collection ScandalEyes and is available in 4 colours: black, brown, purple and
blue. I own as you can tell the black one – 001 Black.
Rimmel claims up to 24hours of rich, intense colour
that doesn’t flake, smudge, smear or run; easy to apply, glides easily;
professional brush for complete control to draw the lines you want.
The gel eyeliner comes in lightweight plastic jar with black cap which has the Rimmel logo printed on the top.
It contains 2.4g. which I think I would use for the next half year.
The pencil which comes with the gel eyeliner is small, pointed, good quality and easy to use, but I personally prefer using an angled brush when applying gel eyeliner. This brush which comes with the gel eyeliner I prefer to use whenever I want to apply gel eyeliner on my lower & upper lashline – I found out that is perfect for this.
The gel eyeliner is completely matte, it has creamy consistency and the colour is really intense black. Here’s a swatch – just one swipe on clear hand (no base underneath):
The longevity is amazing - +10 hours without any smudging, it stays just like freshly applied. In my waterline the longevity is also super good plus it don’t irritates my sensitive eyes and my contacts.
The eyeliner is a bit difficult to remove because of
the strong pigment but I remove it with some micellar water or gentle oily
based makeup remover.

Overall I can tell that this gel eyeliner does everything that claims: – good longevity on the eyelid, intensive colour, easy to apply consistency. I really like this product, I think that if you are into gel eyeliners you should definitely give it a try and I’ll probably buy it again and again ☺.
