Today’s tutorial is about how to create the classic old school pin up makeup look – Marilyn Monroe’s favourite makeup look which is popular even nowadays.
The makeup is quite easy and stylish and that’s why is so classy – combination of black eyeliner + bright red lips.
I was thinking of doing step by step
tutorial on this look, but it’s so simple and easy to do so I’ll just write the
steps you should follow:
1. After you applied an eyeshadow base apply flesh toned matte eyeshaow on the whole mobile lid (the fleshtoned
eyeshadow from the palette Taste of Chocolate/Flormar).
2. Then apply light matte/satin vanilla eyeshadow to highlight under the browbone and in the inner corner of the eye (Bow/Sleek).
3.Apply
some matte brown eyeshadow with cool undertone in the crease. Apply just a
little bit – to add some depth to the eye (Wrapped Up/Sleek).
4. Apply thick matte black eyeliner on the upper lid and slightly elongate it at the end (Rimmel ScandalEyes Gel Eyeliner/001 Black).
5.
In the outer third of the lower lid apply the same matte brown eyeshadow used
in the crease.
6.Finish the eye makeup with 2 coats mascara on the upper and lower lashes.
7. Line
your lips with matte red lip liner and then apply matte/creamy lipstick in
classy red shade – not too orange and not too vamp (Hean Cosmetics Color Intense/158 Ruby Red).
8.Apply
some blush and the pin up look is ready.
Well that’s all about the classic pin up look –
neutral eye makeup and bright red lipstick. This makeup looks suits every woman
and it’s perfect to wear on any occasion.
