Review:Wet'n'Wild ColorIcon Palette #738 Comfort Zone (EN)

Hello everyone

Today’s post is all about the palette by  #738 Comfort Zone. I wanted this palette so bad and I finally got it in my hands! I waited for this palette near a year – it was always sold out so my dear friend S. (thank you ♥) brought this palette all the way here from the US.

The palette contains 8 colors in natural, earth tonesthe name Comfort Zone suits perfectly to the colors. The palette it’s part of the permanent 8 eyeshadows line of the brand. The rest which are available in my country are Petal Plusher (purple-lilac shades), Blue Had Me At Hello (blue shades) and ColorIcon (matte & colorful shades). Comfort Zone its bestseller and I wanted this palette right at the moment I saw swatches of itI love different shades of nudes and green, and the last color at the right its masterpiecereddish-blue-green hologram.

I really like the color selection – beautiful, perfectly matched shades. You can do beautiful mono makeup look using every single shade. You can totally do lightweight, wearable daytime makeup as well as dark smokey eyes.

Packaging is lightweight, compact and plastic. There’s sticker at the outer part of the palette so you can be sure nobody has opened it before you did. There’s also little brush and sponge which I personally won’t use but it’s nice to have it in if you want to retouch your makeup at some point.

The eyeshadows are described from the top to the bottom, first the left column and then the right. Swatches were made on naked skin, without base, with and without flash. Also I want to mention quickly that my skin has medium tan color and yellow undertone so the colors appear warmer.
All of the colors are pearly or shimmer – there’s no matte shade.

Browbone is vanilla shadeslightly yellowish shade with lighter fine shimmer. Its perfect for highlighting underneath the browbone and in the inner corner of the eye.

Eyelid looks like a rose-gold shade in the palette, but on my skin appears as peachy shade with golden shimmers.

Crease is warm brown shade with visible golden shimmers.

Definer is an interesting deep brown shade with matte base and visible shimmers in burgundy red and copper-golden.

Browbone its the color that surprised meI was expecting pearly silver shade but it turn out to be beautiful platinum shade with fine white shimmers added. On my skin appears as the right mix of gold and silver – super pretty and nontypical shade.

Eyelid is light green with visible yellow undertone and golden shimmers.

Crease is blackish-green shade, with matte base and slight golden-brown shimmers.

Definer its the star of the show here and the main reason to want this palette so much. Its beautiful duochrome reddish-brown shade with visible bluish-green hintIts extremely hard to catch it’s beauty on photo and I couldn’t take proper photo of it.

Its pleasure to work with this eyeshadows - soft, buttery consistency, super easy to apply and blend. There’s no need to pat them and they stay on the lid until I remove my makeup.

I am super pleased with the quality of this eyeshadow palette and I’ll definitely use it a lot. The only cons I find it’s that there’s no matte shade – I personally don’t like my makeup look to be completely pearly/shimmery but the color selection is so pretty that I won’t mind using matte shade from another palette.

The left column has colors perfect for everyday makeup throughout the whole year and the colors from the right column Im gonna use a lot during the cold months. I can’t wait to do makeup looks with this palette ♥

Do you own the palette Comfort Zone and what are your thoughts about it?
