Hello
beauties ❤
It is
tradition to share with you at the end of February which were my favorite
products for the past winter. Last year’s winter favorites you can see here
Face:
-
Bourjois
Healthy Mix face primer
In
my everyday makeup routine I don’t reach for a primer as a first step but
whenever I have a special occasion applying face primer is a must for me,
because I have really oily skin and if I need my makeup to look flawless and to
have higher longevity, I tend to use primer + high coverage foundation that
also has matte finish. In
the past winter time I had a lot of special occasions that required my makeup
to look flawless so I’ve choose the primer Healthy Mix by Bourjois – it has
creamy consistency that doesn’t feel silicon-y or heavy once applied, it
minimizes my pores and fine lines, it elongates the longevity of my foundation,
it makes its application easier and hydrates my skin. This
primer is truly favourite of mine that works great with all of my foundations
from different brands.

Маx
Factor Miracle Touch foundation in the shade Golden Beige 048
This
foundation is extremely popular and it was recently relaunched for the
Bulgarian market and I couldn’t wait to give it a try – mouse foundations are
great for oily skin like mine, but they often tend to have thick & heavy
texture which I dislike, because I much prefer light & airy formulas. I
plan to write a full review on this foundation due to the big interest towards
it, so for now I’ll say that it has soft mouse like consistency, full coverage,
matte finish and high longevity. I prefer applying it with angled
buffing brush on a very thin layer and it looks great! Review on Miracle Touch will
be up in March – stay
tuned!
-
Bourjois
Healthy Mix compact powder in the shade 03
I mentioned this compact powder
in my fall 2018 favorites (here). This powder has high coverage, it
gives the skin matte finish and has good staying powder once applied, it is
suitable mainly for oily & combination skin, and it is plus that it has
built in mirror and a puff for a quick re-touch.
-
Max
Factor Crème Puff blush in the shade Nude Mauve
These Max Factor blushes were a
huge hit 3-4 years ago but I personally always have in my collection right 2
blushes available (one warm toned and one cool toned), so that’s why I wasn’t
interested at all in trying these. At the beginning of the winter I used up my
cool toned blush and I had to look for a new one so I choose Nude Mauve: baked
blush with extremely light & fine consistency that allows you to build up
the color up your desire, soft satin finish and neutral nude shade with light
purple undertone. The shade itself is
super delicate and soft and you can’t apply too much of it, but you can build
up the color. It is easy to combine with literally any makeup and gives the
complexion soft, delicate flush.
-
Flormar
baked highlighter in the shade Midnight Star
I
included this highlighter in my post about the best makeup products I’ve found
in 2018 (here) and ever since I got it I can’t
stop using it in any makeup look I create – such an amazing product ♥ It gives my skin angel-like glow,
wet glow effect in a fine champagne shade, that makes it suitable for any skin
tone. It could be applied with light
hand for a soft glow or you can build it up for a blinding mirror & wet
effect glow for a
special occasion. I like applying it with fluffy highlighter brush on top of my
cheekbones, in my tear duct, underneath my browbone, in the middle of my nose,
on top of my upper lid and in the center of my lower lid. Such a staple
favorite of mine ♥

Rimmel
Magnifyes WOW eyeshadow palette
I had in
depth review on this palette & lot of swatches here.
This palette includes 12 shades in different colors with variety of finishes,
but none of them is matte – everyone has some kind of shimmer in it. I
created a lot of different colorful, bright and bold makeup looks the past
winter – WOW isn’t an everyday, go-to neutral makeup palette that you can use
for soft & delicate everyday makeup looks, but it’s great for creating
bold, vamp & eyecatching looks.
-
Bourjois
Volume Eyecatching Black
Misty mascara
I
also included this mascara in my 2018 favorites post and it is my favorite
mascara at the moments since it makes my thin, blonde, spare and short lashes
full with volume & length, it doesn’t smudge or transfer and on 2 coats it
gives my lashes that false lash look. Fav ❤

Miss
Sporty Matte To Last 24h liquid lipstick in the shade Lively Rose
This is such a nice liquid
lipstick with velvet matte finish in a light pink shade with peach undertone. It
has really high longevity, flawless velvet matte finish, nice scent and it is a
great everyday pick.
-
Max
Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte liquid lipstick in the shade Elegant Brown
This lipstick is quite new on the
Bulgarian market so I’ve choose the only available nude shade - Elegant
Brown. This lipstick has light formula, flawless matte finish, high staying
power on my lips and it is in beautiful light beige
shade with light grey undertone (=greige shade). I
love wearing it in combination with matte black eyeliner, for a really sophisticated
everyday look.
-
Bourjois
Rouge Velvet The Lipstick in the shade Parisienne
This shade is from Bourjois’s
autumn collection and I have separate review on it here.
Parisienne is dark redish-brown shade that I
wore a lot during the fall & winter because it looks so stylish &
sophisticated plus it is the only red lipstick shade I like how it looks on
myself.
Manicure:

OPI Black Dress Not
Optional
I couldn’t manage to write a full
review on this nail polish so far but I’ll do it for the next winter for sure.
Black Dress Not Optional it is black base with really fine silver shimmer in it
and looks super interesting & eyecatching on the nails and I wore it a lot
in the wintertime.

OPI
Visions Of Love
Review & swatches on this nail
polish you can see here. Visions Of Love is
in deep bourdeaux shade with brown undertone and classic cream finish, great
pick for the fall-winter time!

Miss Sporty 1 Мinute To Shine Zen Garden
In the transition days at the end
of the summer/winter whenever I’m not ready to start wearing dark/i.e.pastel
shades, I always stick to these soft taupe shades that are neutral and at the
same time not too dark/light. In February I worn a lot Zen Garden which is
interesting soft taupe shade with purple undertone and is great for when I’m
sick of dark & vamp nail polishes but still not in the mood for light &
pastel shades.
Perfumes:
-
Tom
Ford Noir Pour Femme
My favorite winter perfume ❤
It is really dense, really sexy,
really feminine – a lot of everything: woody, gourmand, smokey and white floral
notes in one. It develops best in the cold weather and it always get noticed by
the people around, but is really complicate and difficult scent so my advice is
to test it many times before any buy.
-
Guerlain
La Petite Robe Noire EDP
An old
favorite of mine which I recently re-discovered – sour cherries, licorice,
liquer and violets with a little bit of iris ❤
Such a
feminine and warm scent that develops amazingly in the cold weather and has overwhelming
trail – whenever I wear it I often get comments that around me is smelling like
sour cherries and violets. Lovely perfume
Тhese were my favorite products
for winter 2019. Which
were yours? Share
